REEVI is an EV charging app made by Magicwork Technologies Pvt Ltd ("REEVI", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws that apply.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and email address.
- Vehicle details: vehicle type, model and connector type, so we can show chargers that fit.
- Location: only when you allow it, to show chargers near you and plan trips.
- Charging and payment history: sessions, energy used, amounts paid and GST invoices. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner; we do not store your full card number.
- Device information: app version, device model and crash reports, to fix problems.
- Messages you send us: through the app, email or the contact form on this website.
2. Why we use it
- To run the app: show chargers, start and stop sessions, and take payments.
- To send GST invoices and service messages about your account.
- To answer your questions and resolve complaints.
- To prevent fraud and keep the service safe.
- To improve REEVI. We send marketing messages only if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with: charging network partners (to start your session), our payment gateway, cloud hosting and support tools, the service that delivers this website's contact-form messages to our inbox, and government authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it and how we protect it
We store data on secure servers [in India] and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records). [Add your retention periods.]
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, and nominate a person to exercise these rights for you. Write to care@reevi.in. Deleting some data may mean we cannot provide parts of the service.
